Introducing the answer to our woes – Gentle Monster’s new eyewear collection. Dubbed “Jentle Home”, this stylish collection stems from the eyewear purveyor’s collaboration with Blackpink’s Jennie. SLEEPING IN

“I love these ugly sofas.” -Harry Nuriev

Have you guys seen the “Environmental Conscious Sofa”? The sofa is the brainchild of Balenciaga’s collaboration with Harry Nuriev, a Brooklyn based artist. The unabashed curves of the comfort-first, Lay-Z-Boy style sofa is stuffed with damaged or what Balenciaga describes as “otherwise unsellable” garments, in its bid to convey a sense of sustainability and social responsibility. During this MCO period, we get people dropping us DMs asking us how we manage to remain as environmental-friendly as possible from the comforts of our home. Well, why not take heed from this campaign and be inspired by creating something new from old unused items like clothes that has been lying in the wardrobe for ages or even household recyclable items? Change starts with you, it’ll start when you do.

STAYING IN

Staying at home during the MCO period means a whole lot more bonding time watching good movies over the weekends, doesn’t it? Looking beyond the usual romantic comedies and chick-flicks, we’ve short-listed our favorite Ryan Gosling movie Blue Valentine, which touches on the unconventional ups & downs of a relationship that’ll help coupes resonate with each other better on a deeper level. Besides, did we mention how dashing Ryan Gosling was in his twenties? Swoons.

“LOVE OUT OF SEX, HOW LONG WILL IT LAST?”

The early days of the relationship are heady, exciting and sexually delicious, however fast forward a few months later with a child on the way, things take a turn for the worst. Blue Valentine depicts how even the best intentioned and most loving marriages can come unstuck.

Editor’s notes: Raw, heartfelt and painstakingly real, pair this movie with a glass of wine and finger food snuggled down in bed with your significant other for the ultimate couple’s night in. Also have a box of tissues on hand as the heart-wrenching dialogues between the leads will have you in tears. Oh, and embrace yourself for a whole lot of steamy sex scenes.
